To support this, we offer an extended return policy for products purchased between November 1, 2025, and December 24, 2025. This extended return window allows you to return or exchange your items until January 16, 2026, giving recipients plenty of time to assess whether the gift is suitable for them.
For items to be eligible for a return or exchange under this policy, they must be in their original, unused condition. This includes being unworn, unwashed, and free of damage, with all original tags still attached. These conditions are necessary to ensure that the returned products can be resold, if appropriate. Products that show signs of use, wear, or alteration may not be eligible for a return or exchange under this extended policy.
There are some exceptions to this policy. Certain items, such as gift cards, insoles, and products labeled as “final sale” either online or in stores, cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances. It’s important to review product details carefully before completing a purchase, as additional exclusions may apply depending on the type of product or specific promotions.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please note that shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable, even if the product is returned. Once the return has been processed and approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Refunds cannot be issued as store credit or gift cards unless required by law.
Returns and exchanges must be made within the same country where the original purchase was made. This is due to differences in inventory management, taxes, customs regulations, and shipping logistics across different regions. If you purchased your Allbirds items from a third-party retailer, you will need to process the return or exchange directly through that retailer according to their return policies.
Allbirds reserves the right to manage returns and exchanges based on inventory, operational requirements, and fair access to products. This may include limiting quantities, canceling orders, or refusing returns if deemed necessary. Such decisions could be based on a variety of factors, such as inventory limitations, concerns about policy misuse, or other operational considerations. If an order or return is canceled, Allbirds will only be responsible for refunding the amount already paid, and no additional compensation or damages will be offered.
